1 – French blue dresser
If you’ve spent any time at all on Pinterest looking at painted furniture, you’ve surely come across this gorgeous blue painted dresser from Lauren at Bless’er House. This beauty was painted using Fusion Mineral Paint’s Champness and Homestead House’s wax in Espresso. The top was sanded down and stained with Minwax in Weathered Oak. The aged blue with weathered wood top are the perfect look for the cottage!

Milk paint is a good choice for creating an aged, chippy for cottage furniture. Melanie from Lost & Found used Miss Mustard’s Seed’s milk paint in Mustard Seed Yellow to create this beautifully aged wash stand. We think a piece like this would be perfect for storing all those puzzles and games at the cottage!

The best part of cottaging is spending time with lots of family and friends. To accommodate the crowds, every cottage needs storage for dishes and kitchen accessories. The perfect way to add country charm to a buffet it to paint it and replace the glass with chicken wire. Check out this lovely buffet hutch makeover from Mimi at Mimiberry Creations.

A really cool idea for extra seating is to upcycle tires with rope! You can find the instructions on the Style Me Pretty – Living blog.

While I certainly understand the need for a blog to have advertising, the advertising on this blog that keeps popping I. From the left hand side is so annoying, I do not want to scroll thru anything else on this blog.

There’s so many pop up ads that I can’t look at your site. Even leaving a comment is a challenge.
